EAST AFRICA (1993, 96, 97, 98, 2001, 2003, 2005, 2006) East Africa has some of the most fabulous national parks in the world. Serengeti, Maasai Mara, Selous, Ngorongoro, Mt Kilimanjaro, Amboseli and Tsavo, all ring a bell of great adventure throughout the world. However, East Africa is a lot more than safaris and national parks. The diversity of culture in a country like Kenya is fascinating, from the Swahili culture in Lamu on the coast, to modern city life in Nairobi, to traditional Maasai lifestyle and rural countryside culture of the many different ethnic groups of Kenya - you find fascinating and hospitable people in a country of extraordinary beauty. Tanzania with its more relaxed big city Dar es Salaam, incredible crater sanctuary Ngorongoro, the towering Mt Kilimanjaro and Spice islands of Zanizibar. Uganda with its friendly capitol Kampala surrounded by green mountains, the Great Lake Victoria and the impenetrable forests of Bwindi where groups of gorillas have their habitat. East Africa has everything a traveller desires. Read more details on different destinations in East Africa by clicking the link below: Oh -and the photo album is here

NORTH AFRICA (1995, 2001, 2004) We have visited Egypt and Tunisia and found both countries to be fantastic traveller destinations. Egypt is unsurpassed with its historical sites, topped by the great Pyramids of Giza and the Valley of the Kings outside Luxor. Tunisia has one of the best preserved Roman amphitheatres in the world, as well as the fascinating troglodyte homes to escape the blistering summer heat, and of course the great Sahara desert.
